Artistic Ludi Solnae project (lat. Žilina games), made by Marek Piaček in collaboration with Dušan Dobiaš, Daniel Kozlík and Juraj Darida, explores urban legends of Žilina and vicinity. Their creative methods draw from classical popular radion genres such as hörspiel, radio-feature, soundart, scenic reading, in which documentary approach and artistic interpretation are mixed together by means of narrators, actors, sound collages, noises and music.
Marek Piaček is music composer, flute player, improviser and pedagogue. He composes chamber music, electro-acoustic compositions, music for film and theatre. He’s one of the co-founders of Požoň sentimentál chamber orchestra, he collaborated with Musica falsa et ficta, Mio-Mio, Voice Over Noise, don@u.com, Frutti di mare, Tuleň, Gourounaki Project, Veni ensemble and others.
